Step 1: Prepare and Inspect

  • Check the ip camera with the water mist issue on the front lens.
  • Gather necessary tools: cross screwdriver, dust-free rag (clean paper towel), desiccant, and a hair dryer.
  • Carefully pull the black case outward.
  • Inspect the seamless connection of the waterproof coil between the front lens part and the front and back covers.

Step 2: Disassemble the Bullet Camera

  • Remove the front cover: Use the screwdriver to loosen the rear lens cover; remove it, taking care not to damage the camera wire.
  • Remove the chip: Use the screwdriver to loosen the three fixing screws carefully, ensuring not to lose them or scratch the lens.

Step 3: Dry Out the Water Mist Inside

  • Use a dust-free cloth or clean paper towel to wipe off water mist and dirt, ensuring a clean lens cover (be cautious to avoid scratches).
  • Use the hair dryer: Dry the front and back covers and internal components thoroughly with a hair dryer.
  • Replace the desiccant: Roll up the desiccant and insert it into the surveillance camera.

Step 4: Reassemble the Camera

  • Check the lens cover, ensure there is no water mist or dirt on the front lens cover.
  • Tighten the three screws and place the home ip camera chip back into the case, secure the front cover and tighten the fixing screws between the front cover of the lens and the housing.

Check the waterproof rubber ring between the lens and the housing. Close the black housing securely.
